Wrogn Turn at Albuquerque

(Published on 1. July 2026, 20:53 by Daemen)

  • Normal sudoku rules apply.
  • Arrow: Digits along an arrow sum to the digit in that arrow's circle.
  • Thermo: Digits along a thermometer strictly increase from bulb to tip.
  • Wrogn Turn: Each arrow and thermometer clue contains multiple paths from circle/bulb to tip. For each of these clues, there is exactly one valid path where all cells obey that clue's constraint. Cells shared between intersecting clue paths cannot be both valid and invalid.

Removed confusing wording about wrogn path cells.

The break-in was fairly difficult, but then the rest of the solve was clever and smooth :)

However, the sentence "Cells along invalid paths do not obey their clue's constraint" falsely led me to believe that there is a negative constraint on the wrong paths for each of the clues, which is not true for the thermos! I managed to avoid falling into this trap by ignoring the supposed negative constraint until it became necessary, but maybe somebody else might get confused and think that the puzzle is broken.
