- Normal 9x9 sudoku rules apply.
- Digits on a thermometer increase from bulb to tip.
- For any cell 'C' on a thermometer, if an orthogonal neighbor to 'C' contains a digit greater than the digit in 'C' (e.g. r4c1=3 and r4c2=5), then the thermometer must extend into that cell.
- Thermometers cannot branch, and only one thermometer neck can extend from a given bulb. For example, if r5c4=6 and r5c5=7 then the thermometer extends into r5c5 and the digits in r5c3, r4c4, and r6c4 are all less than 6. Different thermometers cannot occupy the same cell.
- The small number in the top-left of a bulb's cell is the length of that thermometer (including the cell with the bulb). If no number is given the length must be deduced by the solver (a length of 1 is allowed).

Enjoyable puzzle with refreshing thermo building logic. Thanks

It's better to rephrase "must extend" and "cannot branch" as "only has one neighbor to extend to", because the current phrasing is basically self-contradicting.
