Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Clues outside the grid are both X-sums and sumscrapers. Even if wildcards are used, the same number must apply to both clues.
- X-sums give the sum of the first X digits from the direction of the clue in that row or column, where X is the first digit in that direction.
- Sumscrapers give the sum of the digits in that row or column which have no larger digit between themselves and the clue.
Wildcards:
- A ? may represent any digit from 0 to 9.
- A letter represents a specific digit occupying a cell in the grid (which are not necessarily unique).
