Region Border Lots (6x6 Chaos Construction)

(Published yesterday, 20:14 by DubiousMobius)

This puzzle was created for Scojo's weekly prompt. This week the prompt was to set using Chaos Construction and some kind of 'lots' mechanic. I've been playing some Artisan of Glimmith, and figured one of their puzzle mechanics might work nicely with lots, and this is the result. I'm hoping to do more with the constraint in the future, but this should be a good introduction to it. Shout out to ThePedallingPianist for testing. All feedback is appreciated, and hope you have fun!

Rules:

Chaos Construction Sudoku: Place the digits 1-6 once each in every row and column. Additionally, create six 6-cell regions of orthogonally connected cells, each of which contains the digits 1-6.

Region Border Lots: There are purple lines with diamond symbols placed along them. The digit that is placed in a cell with a diamond will count the number of cells along that line that have region borders arranged in the same shape as the diamond's black edges.

Click the puzzle to play!

Solution code: Column 2 from top to bottom with a / between separating digits in different regions. E.g.: 123/4/56

I was right, that *was* fun! Took me a bit to remember that the diamonds don't actually necessarily describe themselves.

Ah, Artisan of Glimmith! A great game, though any version after mid-March forces my laptop to restart.
This should be fun :D
