I'd say this was on the easy end of two star puzzles.

A beautiful beautiful puzzle!

very nice and not hard (if you read the rules which I didn’t do properly) but definitely not 1*

Nothing crazy, but having some experience with entropy helps. I really enjoyed how the deductions jumped all over the puzzle!

Lovely logic! Took me about an hour, but I made quite a few mistakes along the way :)

Thanks for the puzzle, James. I give this two stars. Took almost an hour to solve (because my brain is foggy after midnight).

I would give it a 2.5* if i could. Beginner here. took 31 minutes. But did solve it.

Clever puzzle! It's easy if you're very comfortable with arrows, but I agree with the other comments that it's more of a 2*, I couldn't wrap my head around it last night when I wasn't at full capacity and I wouldn't give it to a less experienced player

Very fun puzzle where the numbers seem to be dancing around the grid

Beautiful, I think it probably borders on two, but objectively there is no real hard step. It's a bit of work, but n genius ideas required.

Having solved this earlier via the newsletter, I'm a bit surprised to see this as a 1*, given some of the spots really aren't elementary. (Yes, I solved it in 13 minutes, but that's just because I've had the experience to know what to look for).
Regardless, a beautiful puzzle and my favorite from the AS volume it's presented in!

Yeah, I'm surprised too, I had it at 2*. Glad you liked it :)
