Normal sudoku rules apply. The blue cells are box indexers. If the cell at box position A has value V then the cell in the same box at box position V has value A. For example, if R4C1 is 3, then R4C3 is 1. The red cells are column indexers. Each digit in column 9 indicates the position of 9 in its row (that is, if R7C9 is 2, R7C2 is 9). Numbers outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits on their indicated diagonal. Digits on these diagonals may repeat when otherwise allowed. I think this puzzle is 1.5 stars out of 5 for difficulty for many solvers (actually, a GAS if you are familiar with the rules). As always, comments welcome. Thanks!

there's a bunch of german words for "box". here, try "Kasten".
but formally, the correct term is "Block".
difficulty is level 1.
yes, the variant itself has inherent complexity, but not enough to bump it to level 2.
hint to get started: the lks are completely forced. then you have a bunch of digits to do sudoku with. there is one small increase in difficulty near the end

Very difficult for me but author says it's GAS. What do I know?
