Uncle-Knight

(Published on 4. June 2026, 17:10 by billybeth)

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Even digits have an uncle-knight restriction in that each even digit must have the same digit in one or more cells a chess knight's move away from it.

Green squares are higher than their neighbouring orthogonal squares and pink squares are lower. All squares are given.

Black dots show digits in the ratio of 1:2, not all dots are given.

On the green line adjacent digits must be at least five apart.

I stuck with 20 something cells unfilled. And THEN i realized that there's an uncle-knight restriction. Difficulty suddenly dropped from 3* to 1*. Geez, where were my eyes?

"Uncle-knight" is clever. Fun puzzle! But yeah, definitely at least 2*

Very nice, but much higher than a 1* for me.
