Fragmented Teleportation

(Published on 3. June 2026, 14:24 by Rhetorical Rebel)

Normal Sudoku rules apply: place the digits 1–9 once each in every row, column and 3×3 box. Region Sum Lines: Cells connected by a region sum line have the same sum within each box the line passes through. Modular Lines: Every set of three sequential digits along a line must contain a complete set of residues modulo 3, i.e. one digit from {1,4,7}, one from {2,5,8}, and one from {3,6,9} Black Kropki Dot: Cells connected by a black Kropki dot contain digits where one is exactly double the other. Teleportation Portals Digits are experimenting with teleportation portals. Cells marked with circles are entry portals and cells marked with squares are exit portals. Portals with matching background colours are linked and contain the same digit. When a digit emerges from an exit portal, it fragments into nearby cells. The values of the fragment cells sum to the value contained in the linked portals. All portals contain different digits. Blue Portals The portal digit fragments into exactly one cell: the cell one step down-right from the exit portal. The value in that fragment cell equals the value in the linked portals. Red Portals The portal digit fragments into exactly two cells: the cell one step up-right from the exit portal, and the cell one step down-left from the exit portal. The values in these two fragment cells sum to the value in the linked portals. Green Portals The portal digit fragments into exactly three of the four orthogonally adjacent cells surrounding the exit portal. The values in those three fragment cells sum to the value in the linked portals. You can play it online via Sudokupad: https://sudokupad.app/zgqgqywj9e
