Dutch Flat Mates: Sausages

Thank you to Flinty for inviting me to join his long running Dutch Flat Mates series! You can find the full catalog of previous puzzles in this series on this spreadsheet, or this LMD search
Rules:- Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- The difference between the sums of two linked sausages on a chain must be exactly equal to the number of sausages in that chain.
- Dutch Flat Mates: Every 5 in the grid must have a 1 directly above it or a 9 directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.

Terrific puzzle! I'm surprised it's only 2* difficulty. Every step is reasonably easy once you spot it, but I got lost among the sausages a few times
