Two color U-bahn

(Published on 1. June 2026, 22:05 by CutieRainbow)

U-bahn:Draw a totally connected loop network through the centers of some cells, which may branch or turn, but may not have any dead ends. A clue outside the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. cross, branch, straight line or turn) appears in the corresponding row/column, irrespective of rotation. Two color: The U-Bahn network divides the grid into orthogonally connected regions. Each region is coloured in black or white, such that regions with the same colour may not share an edge. Black regions must touch the grid edge. A region containing a circle may not touch the grid edge, the clue in the circle indicates the size of its region, and one region can only contain at most one circle. ? may represent any positive integer, and >n means that its region size is larger than n. Solution code: Row 11, X for empty cells, 1 for corners, 2 for straight lines, 3 for 3-junctions, 4 for crossing, from left to right.

Great fun for a first puzzle!
Not too hard once you understand some implications of the ruleset. Thanks :)

Note : there is a difference between the image and the puzzle link for the row 2 clues. The 4 corners are not in the penpa link grid. And I can confirm they are not needed for the solve.
