Normal sudoku rules apply.
The 3x3 box borders divide the teal line into segments. The sum of each segment must increase from one end of the line to the other. Adjacent digits along each segment (not the whole line) differ by at least 5.

very heavy focus on basic sudoku keeps this at level 2.
some of the sum ranges are easy. do those, then switch to basic sudoku.
trying to do all the sums at once is like banging your head on a wall. painful, and largely pointless

Wow, love this type of puzzle, neatly done. New rule for me so I got stuck a couple of times, make sure to get used to the tweaked German whispers before solving guys.

Had a bit of a hard start because I wasnt sure about the wording of the line as one German whisper. But once I got going, it was smooth. Still felt more like 4* for me

I reread the rules a few times, but I'm not seeing how it's possible for the 4 in box 3 to go to a 7 in box 2. Those don't differ by 5?
Just the digits along a segment need a difference of at least 5. It doesn't apply to the entire line as a whole
