SUDOKU - Place the digits 1-7 once each in every row, column, and irregular region.

ICHIKARA NURIKABE - Divide the map into islands (orthogonally connected groups of cells) and water (a single orthogonally connected group of cells).
- One island has been given.
- Every mountain contains a different digit. A digit N on a mountain indicates that its island has N cells, and contains the digits 1-N once each.

Very cool! If you ask the right questions at precisely the right time, you'll breeze through it. I was not so clever :P But that just made for a great discovery when I found the logic.

Side note I'm surprised there haven't been more Ichikara variants. Seems like a robust base ruleset that could play well with Sudoku or pencil puzzles.
