Pythagorean Playground, by pmays123

Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.

For each triangle in the grid:

  • a = the sum of digits along one of the shorter sides.
  • b = the sum of digits along the other shorter side.
  • c = the sum of digits along the hypotenuse (the longest side).
  • a^2+b^2=c^2

The chalkboard happens to include all integer solutions to the above equation with a hypotenuse length less than 25.

I really like the originality and the idea sounds fun. Solving it didn't feel as fun as I had hoped though, quite hard to work with pythagoras numbers of this size.

Loved it! I'm sure finding a grid that works with just triangles and no other clues or givens took quite a bit of experimenting! Very nice!

Great idea and nicely executed! The addition of the blackboard was helpful since I haven't studied geometry in recent years :)
