Experimental Puzzle 1/6: Anti-knight

(Published yesterday, 20:40 by Sudokujoker)

This is the first puzzle in a short series of experimental puzzles. The first five puzzles in the series each explore one constraint in a 6x6 puzzle, and the sixth puzzle combines all constraints in a full-size sudoku.

Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply: place the digits 1-6 in each row, column and 2x3 box. Dynamic fog: the grid is covered in fog. Correctly entering a digit will clear the fog in that cell and may clear the fog in other cells too. Anti-knight: Digits within a chess knight's move may not be the same.

Okay so it was easy once i saw the hint that it was a colouring puzzle. Thought i had a deadly pattern of coloured cells. but made the connection between colours and numbers, then it was easy. Still took me 25 minutes though.

This puzzle relies entirely on proving that the anti-knight restriction on a 6x6 forces a checkerboard pattern, which is too much to ask for a 1*

Fun puzzle but having done my fair share of colouring puzzles, I definitely would not rate this 1*. It's also considerably harder than the other 5 puzzles in the series.
