Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply: Fill the grid such that every row, column and 3 by 3 box contains all the digits 1-9 exactly once.
Windows: The four shaded 3 by 3 regions must each contain the digits 1 to 9 exactly once.
Thermometers: Digits along thermometers must strictly increase starting from the bulb end.
Solution code: Row 3 (from left to right)

Excellent workout for Windoku secrets - 2* time for me. Agree that if you do not know (or discover for yourself) some things about Windoku (the implied extra regions) it would be much tougher to solve.

Great winduko. Felt like 2* but without knowing some secrets it probably quite a bit trickier.
