p.s. the procedure where a puzzle comprising an entire structure of pairs such as {29} exists, with the entire structure having a specific relationship between the values in its cells, and you pick 9, say, as the LABEL for the pair in that cell, is NOT "bifurcation", any more than a colouring puzzle is "bifurcation". using the labels dramatically simplifies the notation, but is not in fact necessary.

it is an abomination that this puzzle should get such an awful rating. this does happen occasionally on this site, and there's no justification for it.
what you have OBJECTIVELY is that this puzzle is perfectly symmetric, with exactly two solutions, with the main disambiguation provided by a single white dot which cannot handle a 1. and that paucity has to be worth something.
there are a couple standard procedures for handling this type of puzzle, and they are not particularly easy, but they are clear enough.
