Order In The Court

(Published on 11. May 2026, 19:30 by EdTheAlchemist)

Solve in SudokuPad

Fill the central 6x6 area so that each row, column and 3x2 box contains the digits 1 to 6 once each.

There are 24 six-digit numbers formed by reading each row from each end, and each column from each end. Rank these in order from 01 to 24 (the tens digit is always included, even if zero) - there are no tied ranks.

Fill the remaining outer cells with the digits 0 to 9 so they show the rank of that row or column, always reading inwards, so the units digit is closest to the centre and the tens digit is furthest away.

For example, if the row 654321 existed in the 6x6 box, it would necessarily contained the largest and smallest ranks - ranks 01 and 24 - and so the full entry would be 24|654321|10.

The digits along an arrow sum to the digit in the bulb of the arrow.

Very nice puzzle! :-)

Would be nice if embedded solution did not require outside cells not on the clues
