Peripheral: Region Sum Regions (6x6), by pmays123

Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.

Box borders divide a blue line into segments with the same sum.

Construct 6 orthogonally connected six-cell regions such that:

  • Digits don't repeat within regions.
  • Box borders divide regions into sub-regions with the same sum (if a region occupies more than one box).
  • For the circles and squares in the grid, the same shape may not appear more than once in a region. It's possible that zero shapes appear in a region.
  • Circles count how many cells in its region it sees vertically in both directions (including itself). Squares count how many cells in its region it sees horizontally in both directions (including itself).

Yay chaos inside sudoku, my favorite! Lovely puzzle and not too difficult.

Very nice! Not too hard once I wrapped my mind around the global constraints. I think a 9x9 grid version could be very interesting.
