A little while ago I tried to make a puzzle with this sort of ruleset and failed miserably ... this should be a better attempt. Hope you enjoy!

Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply. The grid is covered in fog. Entering correct digits may clear fog. No guessing is required.
There is one 'imposter' cell in every row, column, and 3×3 box which all contain different digits. Each imposter cell takes the value of a digit from 1-9 that is not its own digit and no two imposter cells have the same value. The value of a non-imposter cell is its digit.
For each type of constraint listed below, a digit may appear at most once across the entire grid on that constrain type. Values may repeat on constraints if allowed by other rules.
