Rules:

    Format Rules:

  • The grid is a 9x9 Sudoku of super cells, each composed of a 2x2 box of sub cells.
  • The value of a super cell is the sum of its 4 sub cells (0-8).
  • Normal Sudoku rules apply to the super cells. Normal Sudoku rules apply to the super cells. Fill each row of super cells, column of super cells, and 3x3 box of super cells with the values 0-8.
  • Sub cells strictly contain the digits 0, 1, or 2.
  • Special Rules:

  • Super Cell Anti-Knight: Identical values of a Super Cell cannot appear in cells a chess knight’s move apart.
  • Green Circles: A sub cell with a green circle has the same parity (even/odd) as its super cell.
  • Red Squares: A sub cell with a red square has the opposite parity (even/odd) as its super cell.
  • Kropki dots: Digits in cells joined by a white dot are consecutive. Digits in cells joined by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio. (i.e., one digit will be double the other). 0 cannot be used to make a 1:2 ratio. Not all dots are given.

What a fun puzzle! I hope you do more, this was fun and I bet you could iterate on it for some even more devious shenanigans. I'm used to trinary so I would rate this 2 stars of difficulty, but I'm still going to rate it 3 because I think I'm an outlier.
