Counting Zippers
(Published on 5. May 2026, 21:24 by mimec)
Here's another puzzle in the series, this time combining zipper lines with counting circles. The funny thing is that I created this puzzle last Monday, and I was wondering why zipper lines are used so rarely... so I was quite amused when they appeared in last week's Rat Run :).
Previous puzzles in this series:
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Digits an equal distance from the center of a lavender zipper line must sum to the digit in the center of the line.
- A lavender circle indicates exactly how many circles contain that digit. For example, if there is a 4 in any circle, then exactly 4 circles contain a 4.

Took me a bit to see the break-in (obvious in retrospect) but once I did the entire puzzle unfolded beautifully. Thank you!

I loved this, it was a lot of fun! (And the circles and the purple make it such a pretty puzzle, too!)
