Even though I was able to complete the numbers before setting any regions, I enjoyed thinking about how the numbers actually restrict the regions. I think it has been a real good learning exercise!

I agree that it was more difficult to correctly place the regions than the positions of the numbers.

The chaos felt a bit more like a hastle than an addition to the puzzle, I do really like the teaching idea though. Thank you for setting.

I kind of understand. I set these puzzles back when SudokuPad didn't exist like it does now, so my friends didn't get the congrats message until they outlined the regions in Penpa. I can see it being a bummer when you get the congrats from SudokuPad too early. Thank you for the feedback

You can actually solve the puzzle without thinking about regions at all.
Probably not the best to teach chaos construction.

Yes, I understand this style isn't for everyone, but that was the goal for this first puzzle of four. I wanted the first puzzle to be an easy Latin Square so the friends I made these puzzles for (they had never solved sudoku before) could focus mostly on trying to construct the regions from a full grid. Thank you for the feedback
