slow thermometers: digits along a slow thermometer form a non-decreasing sequence, going from the bulb to the tip
skyscrapers: digits outside the grid give the number of digits in that row/column that are larger than all digits between itself and the clue. [as an example, a row reading 162738495 would have a clue of 5 on the left (counting 16789) and a clue of 2 on the right (counting 59).]
note: to trigger completion, fill in all skyscraper values along the outside thermometer.

this is pretty much an "experts only" puzzle, so level 3 at least.
skyscrapers is pretty much a niche area anyway, so the procedures, the questions that need to be asked, will not be "common knowledge"
