Three Region Loop
(Published on 20. April 2026, 05:11 by mellowrobinson)
Normal Sudoku rules apply:
- Fill each row, column, and box with the digits 1-6 without repeats.
Extra Regions Loop:
- Draw a one cell wide orthogonal loop of cells which doesn't touch itself, even diagonally.
- A circle is on the loop, and counts the total number of loop cells it sees in its row and column, including itself, where non loop cells block vision.
- The loop is divided into exactly three connected chunks, and each chunk acts as an extra region which contains the digits 1-6 without repeats.
Digits in gray squares are even.
Solution code: digits on the loop in column 5, top to bottom

I found that a bit difficult because I missed a key part of the logic for a long time. Once I found it it was a very pleasant solve!
