3 Vs: Verschiedenheit von Vier

(Published yesterday, 12:39 by gadgetgreen)

The 7th puzzle of the "3Vs" series.

Inspired by the beautiful "XOV" series from The Bard.

Modified Sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 0-9 in each row, column, and box. However, there will be one digit in each that does not fit. This digit can vary between rows, columns, and boxes and needs to be determined by the solver.

XV: Digits separated by an X sum to 10, those separated by a V sum to 5. All Xs and Vs have been given.

Dutch whisper: The difference between two adjacent digits on an orange line is at least 4.

Solve on Sudokupad here!

Previous puzzles form the series:

  1. 3 Vs: Veni Vidi Vici
  2. 3 Vs: Vin Vino Veritas
  3. 3 Vs: Void, Value, Victory
  4. 3 Vs: Vary Very Verily
  5. 3 Vs: Various Viable Views
  6. 3 Vs: Vicious Velocity Valve

Solution code: Row 5

I don't think that this has a unique solution.
For instance, row 7 col 5 can easily both the digits that are not in the row or column otherwise.

I did cheat with the solution check on Sudokupad either way. But there seems to be something off with the puzzle.
_______

Maybe you forgot about the negative constrain for the Xs and Vs? Have a second look (:
