Dutch Slit Experiment

(Published on 5. April 2026, 05:54 by Andrewsarchus)

Rules:

  • Normal-ish Sudoku rules apply.
Place the digits 0-6 once each into each row, column, and box.
Each row, column, and box contains one Schrödinger Cell, which contains two digits. All other cells contain a single digit.
The VALUE of a cell is the sum of its digit(s).

Each VALUE from 0 to 9 appears in at least one cell.

  • Column Indexers (red cells in column 5):
The VALUE of a red cell must be from 0 to 6, and either indicates the Column number of a cell in the same row which contains a VALUE of 5, or is 0 if there is no cell in the same row with a VALUE of 5.
If more than one cell in the row contains a VALUE of 5, then only one of those cells needs to be indexed.

  • Schrödinger Cell Indexers (green cells in column 1):
The VALUE of a green cell must be from 1 to 6 and is the Column number of the Schrödinger Cell in the same row.

  • Dutch Flat Mates:
Every cell with a VALUE of 5 must either have a cell directly above it with a VALUE of 1, or a cell directly below it with a VALUE of 9.
It may have both, but does not require both.
