Odd/Even: Gray circles have odd values; gray squares have even values. Additionally, each square or circle counts the surrounding up to 9 cells, including itself, for either the total number of empty cells or the total number of digits. (Note: 0 is an even number.)
X-Sums: A clue outside the grid indicates the sum of the first X cells seen from the clue in that row or column, including empty cells, where X is the first digit seen from that clue.
NOTES
Solution code: Row 10 digits only, left to right.

Found this 4* hard as I am unfamiliar with deconstruction sudoku and the ruleset also twisted my brain in knots. Felt the puzzle was uniformly difficult throughout. This should get a CTC feature!
