Standard X-Sudoku rules apply (1-9 without repeats in any row, column, box, or on either major diagonal)
Anti-King: Digits may not repeat if they are a chess king's move apart
Chinese Whispers: Digits connected by a red line (even the ones marking the diagonals) have a difference of at most 2
V: Digits with a "V" between them sum to 5
Additional clues that the puzzle is solvable without but will just make it easier:
The iris of the third eye is an odd number and the digit within is less than any of its orthogonal neighbors (I needed this one, personally)
All V's are given
Hint: The cell in the very center has only one viable candidate from the beginning

I found out that the Chinese whisper constraint predates the German whispers, so I decided to make a puzzle featuring it.
Solution code: Column 3, top to bottom

A very interesting puzzle. I prefer this ruleset to parity lines. Looking forward to a possible miniseries.
