Another killer cage extended beyond the grid, combining an outside clue variant with Sudoku. Check out the preceding puzzle made by other authors (including myself): Bates Motel, Nakatomi Plaza, and The X-Haven.
Normal 6x6 sudoku rules apply.
Killer Cage: In every cage, all digits must be unique. In this puzzle, the digits used in cages are restricted to those found within the grid's standard set.
Sandwich: Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the digits between the 1 and the 6 found within the 6x6 grid for that row or column. If the 1 and 6 are adjacent, the clue is 0 and all outside cells on a clue must contain a digit.
Puzzle:
While you can technically label the total for each killer cage, I find this wording scales better for any N×N Sudoku grid.
Solution code: Column 1 including the outside sandwich clue digit. (7 digits)
