Galactic Starbase

Crew Log 27032026
We are receiving massive electromagnetic waves that is disrupting our ships electronics. We are headed straight towards a black hole. There is no telling what will happen after we cross the event horizon. We will attempt to re-establish communications as soon as possible. Aprile Primo Ship going dark.

Rules:
  • There are NO NORMAL SUDOKU RULES.
  • No Vacancy: Each cell in the grid must be filled with exactly 1 digit between 1 to 9 inclusive. (Immovable: Black given digits are already placed and may be used for other deductions)
  • Anti-Rook: Cells a Rook's move away in chess cannot contain the same digit.
  • Base Sectors: Each killer cage is one sector of the starbase. Digits within the same sector cannot repeat.
  • Thin Walls: Digits separated by any black grid line have a difference of at least 1 and at most 8.
  • In the Spotlight: THERE IS A 3 IN THE CORNER!!!
  • Equilibrium: All sectors sum to the same total to be determined by the solver.
  • Balance Beams: Each row sums to the same total to be determined by the solver.
  • Balance Pillars: Each column sums to the same total to be the determined by the solver.

Solution code: The starbase has a unique code to grant access. In each sector, locate the cell with a digit corresponding to the sector number. The index of each of said cells in order will grant you access to the starbase, left to right, top to bottom. We await your arrival!

Due to time dilatation near the event horizon, this puzzle seems to be 364 days delayed (or a few hours early?). Thanks for sharing.
