Normal sudoku rules apply.
Shade cells using two colours such that each colour forms an orthogonally connected region, and no 2x2 area is a single colour.
Digits in caged cells indicate how many cells of the same colour are seen orthogonally from that position, including itself. The other colour blocks vision.
Along an "index line", the digit in the Nth cell (starting from the diamond) indicates the position along the line where digit N appears. All self-indexing cells are one colour, all non-self-indexing cells are the other colour.

Brilliant. Easier 3* to me. Lots of tricky deduction with a great reveal in the end. Great setting thx.

On the lower half of 3*. Although my solve time corresponded to a 2*, I'm quite familiar with Index lines and YY. Thanks for setting.

I'm pretty experienced with YYSL puzzles and I didn't find that one easy. 3* at least. Very nice though.

Fun puzzle! If you are experienced with YYSL puzzles, it could be a 2*, otherwise definetely a 3* imo.

This might be my favorite puzzle of yours yet! Was briefly flummoxed when my normal border analysis wasn't how to start this ying-yang off, but it turns out the index lines were a more powerful constraint than I imagined with these rules.
