Wendezäune

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply.

Draw a single loop that travels orthogonally and passes through the centers of cells. The loop may go straight through a cell or turn within a cell, but it cannot branch or cross itself. Adjacent digits along the loop differ by at least 5.

A digit in a circle indicates how many of the four surrounding cells contain turns of the loop. Additionally, the digit also indicates that at least one of those four surrounding cells contains that digit.

The beginning of this puzzle felt like 1-2 stars. But it got harder along the way and overall it was 4 stars for me.

I gotta learn to read the rules more carefully. I tried to make the puzzle work where the circles showed how many cells were part of the loop, not turns.
