Rules:
- Normal Sudoku Rules Apply: Fill every row, column, and 3x3 box with the digits 1-9 without repetition.
- Bulbless Thermometers: Digits along a gray line must be strictly increasing from one end to the other. The "bulb" (the lowest digit) may be at either end of the line and must be deduced by the solver.
- XV: Cells separated by an X sum to 10; cells separated by a V sum to 5. Not all X/V positions are necessarily given.
- Kropki Dots: Cells separated by a white dot contain consecutive digits. Cells separated by a black dot have a 2:1 ratio. Not all dots are necessarily given.

this is fine for level 2 until one step in the middle, where the key is that r4c6 cannot be 4.
experts will be able to see the contradiction in their head.

Fun puzzle. I had to bifurcate twice toward the end, so I'm not sure if I missed some logic.

Very nice but nearer 3 stars difficulty - 59 minutes with 2 long chains to disambiguate so I missed something obvious I think.
