(Published on 23. March 2026, 07:16 by billybeth)

Normal Sudoku rules apply

The grey lines are palindromes where the numbers read the same from both ends.

The grid contains three magic squares where the numbers in the rows, columns and two main diagonals in each square add to the same sum. Numbers may repeat in magic squares if allowed by other Sudoku rules and not all magic squares must have the same line sum.

The numbers on the arrow sum to the number in the circle

Solve online:Sudokupad

Solution code: top left number of each of the three magic squares in order they appear from top to bottom of grid

This was far more than a 2* puzzle for me. In particular the ending was devious. Excellent challenge, though. Thanks for sharing.

An excellent puzzle that tested my character. I have posted a hidden comment explaining why.
