Rules
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits cannot repeat on the indicated diagonals.
Within a cage, digits must not repeat and they sum to the small number in the top left corner.
Along green lines, adjacent digits differ by at least 5.
Along pink lines, digits form a consecutive sequence in any order.

i approached this puzzle over multiple sessions - about 9 hours total. each step forward in the solve and the interplay of the constraints felt very rewarding. despite the time it took me i never really felt stuck and so never considered bifurcating. overall, several “a-ha” moments and no shortage of great sudoku. i rated this 5 stars for difficulty & loved the whole ride. thanks nico!

Yikes! The most difficult NikoD puzzle by far! Very subtle and interesting constraints, and how the constraints work together. But I needed lots of experimenting (bifurcation) to solve.

This is a hard one. I made a tiny bit of headway but could never fully break in. I'll try again another day and see if I can do it.

Very nice! It took me ages to understand how to approach the puzzle. After finally grasping that, I still think it is not obvious at all, it was a marvelous solve. Thanks
