(Published on 11. March 2026, 17:30 by Crusader175)

This puzzle was made for Sudoku Adventure series. I’m very happy with how this puzzle turned out, so I wanted to share it here too.
Rules:

Octoquadri: Fill the grid with 8 of the digits 1-9, such that each digits appears exactly twice, and no digit repeats in a row, column, or 2x2 box.

Mathrax: Each pair of diagonally opposite digits surrounding a circle must sum to the value given.

Extremely fun! I had to be extra judicious to avoid my own bad logic, which is its own puzzle! Haha thank you for this.

I found myself making some notes/calculations rather than marking the puzzle to work it out, but I really enjoyed the logic a lot. Great puzzle!

This was a really weird one. It felt like it was somewhat challenging with the kind of logic it required, but in the end it didn't take that long to solve. I guess +10 min for 4x4 could be considered 2*.

This felt impossible until I re-read the rules. Don't be like me; pay attention to "each digit appears exactly twice"!

Thanks for the fun puzzle

Took me a while to figure out where to start. I'm usually so good at spotting addition...
