The Difference Between Us

Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive.
Box borders divide the lavender lines into segments. Each segment is a valid between-line (i.e. the interior digits are numerically between the end digits).
Every such segment in the puzzle has the same difference between its lowest and its highest digit.
The marked digit is greater than 1.
There is an alternative version available that uses black kropki dots instead. Credit to zeniko in the comments for the suggestion! It's less well tested, but it feels slightly nicer. The solution is the same.

Based on @zeniko's suggestion I made an alternative version that uses black kropkis instead of white plus a custom constraint: https://sudokupad.app/7yl105fube
I have only test-driven it once, but it does feel a little nicer. The solution is identical.

[balpha:] Thank you! I had not, in fact. I just went for the most obvious way to break the symmetry around 5, but a you're right, a black kropki could've been a good idea.
