Dutch Quali 26 appetizer - Sudoku Sandwiched N-Sums

In the weekend from 6 until 10 March the qualifications of the Dutch puzzle and sudoku championships 2026 will be held online. There will be two separate qualifications that take both 60 minutes. You can solve the puzzles at a moment that suits you best during the weekend. Everyone who is interested can participate, although only Dutch players are invited for the finals in May. If you want to participate in the qualification(s) you have to register yourself here. You can find the instruction booklet here. The puzzle below was not selected for the championship but very suitable as appetizer. Enjoy!
Sudoku - Sandwiched N-Sums
Solve online in
Apply classic sudoku rules.
In rows and columns with a clue outside the grid, exactly N digits are placed between the digits 1 and 9. Those are the sandwiched digits. Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of all sandwiched digits in the corresponding row or column, where N is the first sandwiched digit from that side.
