Kraken the Kryptic

This puzzle was inspired by Dorlir's puzzle: The Greatest Line.
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Additionally:
Circles (Kraken arms) contain the digit that is exactly one greater than the sum of the digits on each of their green lines (tentacles). So, if the circle in r9c1 was a 6, then the one cell line ending in r8c2 would be a 5 and the length two green line, ending in r7c2 would also sum to 5.

Changed difficulty based on feedback. Changed tentacle arm color to more a more pencil mark friendly green.

solves at level 1 (almost gas), except for one short chain in the middle.
the main difficulty is that the thick green lines make candidates hard to see.
@ VitP - Thank you for solving and thank you so much for the comment! I felt like the break in might hit some folks as a 2, but you are right, the rest flows pretty smoothly. Also, I was going for a more "sea monster" green, so overlooked the impact that made in viewing pencil marks. I've updated the colors to make that a better experience.
