Rules:
Sudoku: Fill the grid with digits 1–9 so that each digit appears exactly once in every row and column.
Regions: Divide the grid into regions of orthogonally connected cells such that every cell belongs to a region. Each region contains exactly one circle. The digit in a circle gives the size of its region. Digits may not repeat within a region.
If a circle contains digit n then exactly n-1 orthogonally adjacent regions (regions sharing an edge) must be smaller in size than that region.
Cells separated by a blue dot must belong to different regions.

That was tricky. Especially the regions, for me. But very nice, and original.

Lovely puzzle with really nice logic, as usual. It flowed very well for me, only filling in the grid after fully pencil marking took surprisingly long.

That was a lot of fun. The regions were tough but the real horror started with the numbers IMO

Nice puzzle - it definitely helped to have done the example first to get my head round the rules.
