(Published on 27. February 2026, 00:00 by NXTMaster)
This is a direct sequel to the puzzle
Scarecrow but can be solved individually.
The rules are as follows:
- Place the digits 1-9 once in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- Extra Regions: Digits must not repeat within each of the colored extra regions.
- Disjoint Groups: Each digit occupies each possible position in a 3x3 box once.
- Cages: Digits within a cage sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage if given. Every cage contains digits that sum to at least 10.
- Digits along the indicated diagonal must sum to an odd total.
The puzzle is available on
SudokuPad. Have fun battling!
The sprite of Scarecrow is from the video game Defender of Texel, not created by me.

Brilliant puzzle! Great use of geometry and the final disambiguation was beautiful. I enjoyed it a lot and can't wait for the next installment. Thanks
