First Crops of Spring

(Published on 28. January 2026, 21:59 by NotSoMagnifique)

I posted this to the testing channels last week, and while people enjoyed it, at least three people said that one of the ten-lines was extraneous. - so you lovely folks get the updated version.

----

Rules:

- Normal Sudoku Rules apply.

- Index Lines - on a green index line, the digit in the Nth cell along the line (starting from the diamond) indicates the position along the line where the digit N appears. Eg: 3214 would be a valid line; the 1st digit, 3, indicates that the 3rd digit is a 1, and so on.

- 10-lines - Each gold 10-line can be entirely divided into non-overlapping segments that each sum to 10.

- Kropki - digits separated by a black Kropki dot are in a 2:1 ratio, digits separated by a white Kropki dot are consecutive. No negative constraint.

Very nice puzzle - thanks.

Index Lines can't contain a digit higher than their length. I would not have gleaned that from the rules, except I revisited this page and saw people were rating this 1 star

please don't make the same mistake I did

wiggly :)
At one point in my solve, I made a guess about one of the lines (didn't act on it, just noticed), and it was cool to later come back to those cells and prove the guess correct.

>>>NSM here - isn't that a great feeling when your instincts are right? I don't always do wiggly lines, but I thought it suited this line combo!
