Spanta (Moon-or-Sun Sudoku)

(Published today, 00:15 by mnasti2)

This puzzle was a Secret Santa gift for Math Pesto. The rules will make sense if you are familiar with Moon-or-Sun puzzles, and note the additional rule that each cage has at least one moon and sun.

Rules: Normal sudoku rules apply. In this puzzle, the digits 1, 4, and 7 are “moons,” 2, 5, and 8 are “suns,” and 3, 6, and 9 are neither. Every cage contains at least one sun and at least one moon.

Draw a non-branching, non-intersecting, orthogonally connected loop through the centers of some cells. The loop visits each cage exactly once. Within a cage, the loop passes through all moons and no suns, or all suns and no moons. The loop may not pass through the same type of clue (sun versus moon) in two consecutively visited cages.

Digits do not repeat in cages and sum to the number in the top left of the cage, if given. Inequality signs open toward the higher digit.
