fourth eye open

So MathGuy_12 asked for more puzzles using sum dots, and I took the opportunity to mix them with a variant on phil_the (hat)'s Quad-Rank ruleset.
-
Irregular sudoku rules apply: place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column and region.
-
Full Quad-Rank:
- All the 2x2 areas of the grid, when read in western reading order, make a total of 64 four-digit numbers.
- Clues in the center of a 2x2 area show its rank among those 64 numbers, where the lowest is 1 and the highest is 64.
- If two or more numbers are tied, their rank is the lowest of them. (For example, if numbers 20 21 22 are tied, we say there are three numbers in rank 20 and the next rank will be 23, i.e. the ranks would go ⋯, 19, 20, 20, 20, 23, ⋯)
-
Sum dots:
- Clues in the center of a 2x2 area also show the sum of its digits.
- Digits may repeat in the 2x2 area if allowed by other rules.

The logic for getting into this puzzle felt quite different from what I'm used to (but I guess not super unusual for puzzles with sum ranks.
It was fun to solve, thank you for coming up with this!
