Counting Cages
(Published on 17. January 2026, 14:46 by plasmath)
A new spin on the counting circles rule. Enjoy! All feedback is welcome.
Rules:
- Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Counting Cages: Digits do not repeat in cages. Each cage has a circled digit, indicating how many cages have the same sum as that cage. For example, if a cage sums to 12 and has a circled 5, there are exactly 5 cages in the puzzle which sum to 12.
Solve with Sudokupad!

Solution code: Row 8.

Takes a significant effort to work through it, i'd say 4 star difficulty. A beautiful and impressive puzzle.
