U-Bahn Aqre (ft. Christounet)
(Published on 17. January 2026, 00:00 by cyddrdrd)
This puzzle is created by
Christounet and rdrd. Working with Christounet is a real pleasure. I really enjoyed our discussions during the setting process, and learned a lot of great setting techniques.
Rules
- Aqre: Shade some cells so that all shaded cells form one orthogonally connected area. There may not exist a run of more than three consecutive shaded or unshaded cells horizontally or vertically anywhere in the grid.
- U-Bahn: Draw a totally connected loop network through the centers of some cells, which may branch or turn, but may not have any dead ends. A clue outside the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. cross, branch, straight line or turn) appears in the corresponding row/column, irrespective of rotation.
- Interaction: Unshaded cells may only contain branches or corners. Shaded cells may only contain crosses or straight lines, or be empty.
