Sudoku: Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Cave:
- The cave is a single region within the grid which is fully orthogonally connected.
- No 2x2 area may be entirely cave.
- Any two orthogonally-connected cells in the cave must differ by at least 4.
Walls:
- Cells which are not cave are walls.
- Each section of wall is fully orthogonally connected (but MAY contain 2x2 squares, unlike the cave).
- Each section of wall touches the edge of the grid.
- Each section of wall contains exactly one circle (and all circles are inside walls), which tells you how many cells form that section of wall.
- The circles form a complete set of the digits 1 to 9.
Japanese Sums:
- Clues outside the grid give the sums of cave cell segments in the respective row or column, in order, where wall cells separate segments.
- A question mark indicates any digit from 0 to 9, but no clue may have a leading zero.
- An asterisk denotes an arbitrary number of Japanese sum clues. This could be zero, one, or multiple.
Stalactites:
- Grey dots are stalactites and have no restriction on whether they form on walls, in the cave or in between the wall and the cave.
- Digits in any pair of cells connected by a grey dot have a 1:2 ratio OR differ by 1 OR both; you must determine which for each dot.
- Not all stalactites are necessarily given.

Fun puzzle. Fairly smooth sailing on the cage, but had to reread the rules several times before noting the Dutch whisper constraint to be able to finish.
