Rules
  • Squishdoku:

    • Place the digits 1 through 9 once each in every 3x3 box, without repeats in any row or column. Cells on region borders (dashed lines) are shared between multiple boxes.
  • Dutch Flatmates:

    • Every 5 in the grid must have A 1 in the cell above it or a 9 in the cell below. It may have both but does not need both.
  • Numbered Rooms:

    • Outside clues represent the digit placed in Nth position looking into the grid in the row/column, where N is the digit in the first position.

All feedback (positive or critical) appreciated!

Lovely puzzle that worked well as an introduction to squish and flatmates - neither of which I'd ever done before! Led to a few nice thrills of simple logic :)

lovely, I was surprised that it could work with just 5's as numbered rooms, let alone so smooth and elegant. Thanks for sharing!

I avoided the squishis so far. But this made me try as a first attempt. Great introduction puzzle to these puzzles. Great fun thx.

Yes, I too have not felt at ease with squishdoku puzzles before, but I found this to be a good introduction to them, and it helped give me a feel for what to look for in them.
Thanks!

I usually struggle a lot with squishdoku but decided to give this one a go. I don't regret it as it's a magnificent introduction to the variant
