Covering Cascade

This was a puzzle I made when I tested morrisjb’s recent puzzle. There are two ways to break-in for this puzzle, so for added fun try to find both ways to break-in which will converge into the same middle puzzle.

Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Arrows: Digits along an arrow sum to the digit in that arrows circle.

Diagonal: Digits do not repeat along the indicated diagonal.

Very nice indeed. I went back and found a second way of breaking in, as suggested, which was cunning and in a sense more immediately decisive than the first version I found. But the first way was very neat.
