This is my response to
Scojo's setting prompt for last week, for which
aqjhs requested something involving Pairrows and region building. I must admit, I didn't have an abundance of time or devilish inspiration for something typically twisted, but this puzzle was fairly straightforward and enjoyable to set, so I thought I'd share it. Many thanks to
my dad for testing.
FILLOMINO:
• Divide the grid into orthogonally connected regions;
• Enter a digit into each cell representing the size of the region to which that cell belongs, in number of cells;
• Regions of the same size may not be orthogonally adjacent;
• In this puzzle, there are no regions of size 10 or higher.
DIFFERENCE PAIRROWS:
• If a cell with arrows contains the digit D, then the cells D steps away in the indicated direction have a difference of D.
Solution code: Column 8 (far right), top to bottom

Very, very enjoyable, and entirely approachable for someone like me who doesn't do fillomino normally.

Sweet and fun puzzle, thanks!
It certainly reminded me of that one puzzle I'd made in the past x) (id: 000LF8)

That was fun! I'm normally not that good with fillomino puzzles, but this one went pretty smoothly.
